Student representation at UFSC aims at promoting cooperation within the academic community and strengthening the institution.
In accordance with the University’s bylaws and regulations, students have the right for representation in central and sectorial deliberative bodies.
Only students who are regularly enrolled at UFSC, who are not in their last semester of study and who do not have any penalties in their academic transcript are eligible to become a representative in one of the university’s bodies, as long as they have no other valid mandate.
The student representatives have the right to speak and vote at meetings.
